At Home in the Lost Sierra
Valley Ranch makes its home in Eastern Plumas County near the tiny town of Clio.
Plumas County is located in Northeastern California, where the Sierra Nevada and Cascade mountain ranges converge. Residents and visitors take advantage of hiking, biking, fishing, boating, and many other outdoor activities. It’s also a golfer's paradise with seven golf courses and several nice restaurants within 20 minutes of Clio.
Winter visitors enjoy ice fishing, snowmobiling, sledding, cross country skiing and many other winter activities.
Are you curious about how the town of Clio got its name? Read the tale about the former town of Wash, and how a little Clio stove influenced a new name!
